I just HAD to do this. I really did.

• What was your first Metal Gear experience and how old were you at the time?

I would have played MGS in December 1998 if my friend had his orignal PS1 MGS copy at home and had not have lent it to his other friend. But my first real experience was for METAL GEAR SOLID 2: Sons of Liberty in 2002. I was 13 years old!

•  What was your honest reaction to the switchup that Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty pulled on everyone? For example, were you one of the people that hatedRaiden and wanted Solid Snake back?

since it was my first MGS game, I really had no enmity towards Raiden (since I thought that’s how all the MGS games were), and thought he was alright. But yeah… Snake was always cooler.

• Do you have a favorite Metal Gear picture (e.g. a piece of Shinkawa artwork)?

Possibly not. All his stuff is great, really.

•  What is the hardest experience you’ve ever had in a Metal Gear game and did you ever overcome it?

MGS3 had some pretty big frustrating parts (like THE END to name one - thankfully we’re cheaters and looked up how to beat him.)

• Name the most attractive female/male (or both if you’re that randy) in the Metal Gear universe.

It’s probably a tie between Rose, Laughing Octopus, Raging Raven, and… Fortune? Maybe?

•  Have you ever played Metal Gear Online? If so what was your most memorable moment while playing?

Never.

• What is your favorite Metal Gear game and why?

That’s extremely difficult to answer because they’ve all got great stories and varied activities to have fun with. But, if I were to recommend the most rounded-out best MGS game so far: I’d say “SNAAAAKE EAAATEEEERRRR”. Possibly.

• Which weapon do you prefer using in the series the most?

      M9 Tranks. It’s always those stupid tranks. Or a rocket launcher.

• If you genuinely hate one thing about the Metal Gear series, what is it?

   the inability to acquire jetpacks and fly around.

•  Have you ever played any of the Solid games on Extreme? If so, how was your time with it?

Oh yes, It was EXTREME.

• Who is your favorite ‘Snake’ in the series and why?

MGS2 Snake in terms of personality… MGS3 Snake in terms of looks - The MGS3 Snake looks the most like how I pictured Big Boss/Solid Snake - like the definitive version… and the MGS2 Snake because he’s just so cool whenever he appears. That’s one of MGS2’s strengths: having Snake be one of the “mentor” characters, and his limited appearance makes him all the cooler. however… SOLIDUS is my all-time favorite Snake. I wish he never died.

12. What’s your favorite bit of music in the entire series?

obviously the OLD Main Theme based on Sviridov’s Winter Road. That, and “The Best is Yet To Come”.

• Name one thing you didn’t like about each game (that you’ve played) specifically in three words or less.

MGS1: Graphics (sorry guys, but I want to play this great game with better graphics now) - MGS2: Idiotically Complicated Storytelling - MGS3: The Fear - MGS4: Too many Cutscenes

• What’s your favorite boss encounter?

I can’t decide. Maybe Rex vs. Ray. I like them monster fights.

• What was your initial reaction to Psycho Mantis reading your memory card and moving your controller around (age is relevant here of course)?

Spoiled. People already told me about it and therefore It didn’t shock me.

• I hate shipping, but I may as well indulge you fanatics for a few seconds here. What couple do you think would work best in the Metal Gear universe (already existing or not)?

FATMAN and E.E. Hahaha! Shippings are stupid.

• Do you honestly think love can bloom on a battlefield?

Yeah, I think that’s possible. BLOOOM!

• Can you name the exact moment you fell in love with the series (assuming you ever did)? If you can’t just name your most meaningful experience with the franchise.

I think the theme song made it awesome. That and probably just finishing the first game. Pretty rad.

• Name something that you like about the series that borders on outright perversion. If you don’t have one, just name the moment that made you laugh the most.

• Do you earnestly want the Metal Gear series to continue or do you think things are pretty nicely wrapped up as is?
