this is my custom music album art for “Gake No Ue No Ponyo” or “Ponyo on the Cliff By The Sea” from Studio Ghibli & Hayao Miyazaki. The music is composed by Joe Hisaishi, and it’s quite marvellous.
I initially painted this for a lame contest on DeviantArt and pathetically lost. But, that doesn’t matter much as the fact that I hoped to express the grandiose feel of the score with my painting… and hope you agree.
